About Burgkemnitz: Blauer See
This Blauer See is a small, clear lake between Muldenstein and Burgkemnitz near Bitterfeld, in the Dübener Heide area of Saxony-Anhalt. It is a remnant of the former Muldenstein opencast lignite mine and lies within the Schlauch Burgkemnitz nature reserve (designated 1996), surrounded by woodland. Visitors describe it as a quiet bathing lake with very clean water and several small natural entry points rather than a developed beach; anglers also use it. A 2008 nacktbaden.de report says the nude area is near the far end of the lake, with the rest of the shore used by textile bathers, and that neither group minds the other. There are no facilities.
Getting there
Coming from Muldenstein, turn right immediately after the railway underpass at the entrance to Burgkemnitz, then follow a poorly surfaced road about 3 km through the forest. Parking is in the woods and at a small car park on the north side; the nude area is towards the end of the lake. Circular paths around the water are limited.
What visitors say
The few reports describe very clean water, a calm atmosphere without crowds, and a relaxed mix of nude and textile bathers. Visitors note the rough access road and that the protected setting means no facilities; some mention occasional illegal camping.
