About Bluffer's Beach
The Scarborough Bluffs are the tall, eroding clay cliffs along Lake Ontario in Toronto's east end. Bluffer's Park, at the foot of Brimley Road, is a busy marina and supervised city beach where clothing is expected. The Federation of Canadian Naturists describes a few secluded spots further west, below the bluffs between the Toronto Hunt Club golf course near Warden Avenue and Bluffer's Park, that have been used for nude sunbathing. These are small, informal patches of narrow sand and stone at the base of the cliffs, reached by steep and unofficial paths, and they see few people. This is not a designated beach and there are no facilities; the cliffs are unstable and the City discourages climbing on them. For a more established clothing-optional option in Toronto, the official beach is Hanlan's Point on the Toronto Islands, and the informal Beechgrove beach lies further east near East Point Park.
Getting there
The FCN gives two approaches. One: take Kingston Road past Birchmount Road to Glen Everest Road, then Fishleigh Drive, park behind the Scarborough pumping station buildings and follow the path along the bluffs to the building at the cliff base, then climb down with care. Two: a steep path from the south end of Warden Avenue, past the end of a fence. Both routes are steep, unmaintained and unsuitable in wet weather or for anyone with limited mobility. Bluffer's Park has a large free lot but is the clothed beach.

Legal context
Not a designated clothing-optional area; Toronto's only designated nude beach is Hanlan's Point. Nudity here relies on seclusion and discretion, and the bluffs are prone to collapse.
Naturism at Bluffer's Beach sits under Canada's rules for traditional tolerance — custom more than statute.
