About Berepper Beach
Berepper beach is on the west side of the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall, about 6 km south of Helston, at the southern end of Loe Bar near the hamlets of Berepper and Gunwalloe. A naturist holiday guide describes it as an unofficial naturist area at the far end of Loe Bar. British Naturism's beach directory lists the neighbouring Gunwalloe Cove, just to the south, as a sandy beach with a National Trust car park. The coast here is cared for by the National Trust. It is dangerous for swimming: the National Trust says not to swim anywhere from Gunwalloe Fishing Cove to Loe Bar because of dangerous currents, and the naturist guide calls Loe Bar notoriously dangerous. Treat this as a beach for sunbathing and walking, keep well clear of the surf, and check the tides. We found no reliable recent description of how busy the nude end is or exactly where the nude area starts.
Getting there
Approach from the Gunwalloe side, south of Helston. British Naturism gives the National Trust car park at Gunwalloe as the starting point. The nude area is at the far, southern end of Loe Bar, a walk along the coast from the car park. We found no reliable figure for parking charges, walking time or the condition of the path. The beach is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Legal context
Nudity is not illegal in England in itself, but it can become an offence if it is intended to cause alarm or distress. No authority designates this beach for nudity, and the use here is informal. The National Trust bans swimming between Fishing Cove and Loe Bar because of currents.
Naturism at Berepper Beach sits under United Kingdom's rules for traditional tolerance — custom more than statute.
