About Thermes
naturistes du Luxembourg Mondorf Domaine Thermal.
Legal context & local rules
Luxembourg has no specific nudism legislation, operating in a legal grey zone where public nudity is neither explicitly permitted nor criminalised in designated contexts. General indecency laws apply to non-designated public spaces, but enforcement is rare for discreet, consensual naturism. The country's small size and influence from neighbouring German and French naturism traditions create a tolerant but informal environment.
Before you go
- 1 Check the current local rules and access conditions before travelling.
- 2 Bring a towel and sit on it when using shared seating.
- 3 Never take photographs of other people without clear consent.
- 4 Respect the venue’s clothing, privacy, and behaviour rules.

More naturist places in Luxembourg
View all in Luxembourg →Camping Bleesbruck
Camping Bleesbruck is a family-run campsite in the Sûre valley at Bleesbrück, between Diekirch and Bettendorf in the Luxembourg Ardennes, run by the Hamen family in its third generation. Most of the site is an ordinary textile campsite with about 159 pitches, seven motorhome places and twelve rental units. In 1999 the family fenced off a small textile-free section of 25 pitches, and the campsite describes itself as one of only two naturist campsites in Luxembourg. The naturist area is self-contained, with its own closed-off space, and guest reviews describe it as quiet and clean with good sanitary facilities; it had its recycling corner updated in 2024. There is no pool on site, but there are public pools in Diekirch and other nearby towns, and the Sûre valley has riverside cycle paths and walks. The season runs from April to October.
Camping De Reenert
De Reenert is a naturist campsite at Heiderscheid in the Luxembourg Ardennes, inside the Upper Sûre (Haute-Sûre) nature park and a short drive from the Upper Sûre lake. It is the naturist sister site of the large family campsite Fuussekaul, which sits on the other side of the road and handles reception; naturist guests may also use Fuussekaul's facilities, where clothing is worn. De Reenert itself has about 85 large, level touring pitches, all with electricity, including shaded pitches and motorhome pitches, plus around eight mobile homes and lodges to rent with kitchen, bathroom and terrace. Its own facilities include a newly built heated indoor pool with lounge and sauna, modern sanitary blocks with accessible and family showers, a clubhouse and meeting room, a children's play area with large trampolines and a boules pitch. Across the road at Fuussekaul are a restaurant, bar, shop, bakery, tennis court and bike hire. Free aqua-gym sessions and an activities programme run in high season (May to September). Nudity is the norm on the De Reenert side. The site is open all year, which makes it one of the few naturist campsites in the Benelux usable in winter. It is a good base for walking, kayaking, fishing and sailing on the lake.

Lac de Remerschen
Lac de Remerschen is a nudist-friendly beach in Breicherwee, Remerschen Schengen, Luxembourg. Nudity is optional. On-site amenities include restrooms, parking.
Les Thermes Strassen
Les Thermes is a large public leisure pool and sauna centre in Strassen, on the western edge of Luxembourg City. The aquatic side, where swimwear is worn, has a 25-metre pool, learning and children's pools, a wave pool, an outdoor pool, a jacuzzi and three slides, kept at about 29°C. The separate sauna and wellness area, which is the relevant part for nude bathing, has around six to nine saunas and steam rooms, including infrared, herbal, salt and a mound-style outdoor sauna, a Turkish hammam, an outdoor sauna pool and a sauna garden. As in neighbouring Germany and Belgium, the saunas are used without swimwear, and visitor reviews describe people sunbathing nude in the sauna garden; bathrobes are required in the rest rooms, which some visitors find odd given the nude sunbathing outside. The sauna is mixed every day, with a women-only session on Tuesday mornings. The centre runs occasional late 'Moonlight' sauna nights. It is open all year and is a convenient option for nude sauna bathing in the Luxembourg City area, though it is a public facility rather than a naturist venue, and the pools themselves are textile.
