About Naturistencamping De Bessenhof
De Bessenhof is the naturist grounds and campsite of the Zuidhollandse Lichtbond (ZHLB), a members' naturist association, at Schinkeldijk 42a in the hamlet of Tempel near Reeuwijk. It lies in the Groene Hart, the green belt between Rotterdam, The Hague, Leiden and Utrecht, close to Gouda and the Reeuwijkse Plassen lakes. The site takes touring tents, caravans and campers, with electric hook-ups, and has seasonal pitches for members. Its unheated outdoor pool, 1.40 m deep, opens from early May to mid-September and allows evening swimming; the De Druppel sauna, with wet area and rest room, runs summer and winter. Other facilities include pétanque courts with regular tournaments, other sports, a nature area called De Wonne for walks, free Wi-Fi across the site and the clubhouse De Groote Waard, with terrace, drinks and a small menu. The club runs music and card evenings, cycle tours and wellness days. Nudity is required in the pool, and the site follows a code of conduct; dogs and cats are not allowed. It carries the NFN 'prettig bloot' quality mark. Members can use the grounds year-round, and holiday guests and day visitors are welcome.

De Bessenhof is at Schinkeldijk 42a, 2811 PB Reeuwijk, a short drive from Gouda and the A12. Day visitors need an NFN membership card; no advance registration is needed - phone the number at the gate and a host lets you in. Holiday stays are booked online at zhlb.nl. Indicative 2026 camping rates were EUR 15 per adult per night (EUR 12.50 for NFN members) plus EUR 2.15 tourist tax and EUR 7.50 for electricity; children 4-17 EUR 2.50, under-4s free, with 20% off in April, May and September. ZHLB membership is EUR 125 a year.

Baaiegatstrand
Baaiegatstrand is the naturist area of Het Twiske, a large recreation area of lakes, meadows and woodland just north of Amsterdam, between Zaandam and Purmerend, in the municipality of Oostzaan. Since 2011 the naturist site has been on an island reached by a wooden bridge, after it moved from the more remote Wezenlandstrand. It covers about 1.7 hectares, mostly sunbathing lawns. Sand runs along about half of the bay side (it was shortened in 2020), and a small new sand beach faces the Stootersplas lake. The bay is separated from the lake by a timber barrier and has a gently sloping bottom with a roped swimming zone up to 1.4 m deep and many water plants; on the Stootersplas side the bottom drops off steeply and suits experienced swimmers only. Tall planting hides the area from view except at the entrance. Facilities include a toilet, bins, bicycle racks, a volleyball court and two boules pitches, and dogs on a lead are allowed on the rear part. A New Year's dip is held on 1 January at 14:00.
