About Le Betulle
Le Betulle is a naturist village and campsite at La Cassa, in the hills north-west of Turin near the foothills of the Alps. Founded in 1969, it covers more than 14 hectares of woodland and meadow, and is one of the older naturist centres in northern Italy. Accommodation comprises wooden and masonry bungalows for two to four people with kitchen equipment, mobile homes for four with their own bathrooms, caravans in several configurations, a wooden chalet for up to four, and pitches for tents and campers. The main facility is an 18 by 11 metre naturist pool with an adjoining jacuzzi, alongside a Finnish sauna and a steam bath. A clubhouse has a bar, a library and a communal lounge, and there are green areas and equipped spaces around the grounds. The village pitches itself at couples and families, with games, themed evenings and dances; children under six stay free when with adults. Nudity is the norm in the village and pool. The pages we opened did not give opening dates; check with the village before travelling outside summer.
Legal context & local rules
Nudity is lawful on the private, enclosed grounds. Italy has no national naturism law; private naturist facilities operate normally.
Article 527 of the Italian Penal Code (Codice Penale) prohibits "atti osceni" (indecent acts) in public locations, though simple nudity without provocative behaviour is not explicitly criminalised. The Italian Constitutional Court's 2022 Decision No. 95 reformed penalties to emphasize administrative fines over criminal prosecution, moderately increasing legal tolerance.

Naturist sauna afternoons held by the 3VeNat association at the Bobadilla wellness club in Treviso, alternating with sessions in the Vicenza area. Each meeting runs from mid-afternoon into the evening with Aufguss led by sauna masters, giving members and interested newcomers a regular chance to use the sauna together nude. Dates are published on the association's calendar.
3VeNat naturist sauna meetings – Gymnasium

They are a social way for members and newcomers to enjoy a sauna together without swimwear.
Acquarena Bressanone – Sauna area
Public pool and wellness complex in the centre of Brixen with a sauna area of about 1,200 m². It includes indoor and outdoor Finnish saunas (one on the roof terrace for around 40 people), bio and herbal saunas, a salt room, a steam bath, Kneipp basins and large relaxation rooms. The operator states that the sauna cabins and water areas of the sauna zone are used without swimwear, in line with the South Tyrolean custom.
Acquarilli
Acquarilli is a small, wild cove on the southern coast of Elba, in the municipality of Capoliveri, tucked into a horseshoe-shaped bay below the coast road that runs west from Capoliveri towards Lacona. It sits under steep slopes and is one of the island's better-known naturist spots; Elba has long been described as the home of naturism in Tuscany. The shoreline is a mix of dark gravel and pebbles with rocky outcrops, and patches of sand mainly towards one end. Rocks in the middle of the beach split it into two parts, and the nude section is on one side of those rocks, with clothed bathers using the other, so visitors should check which side they are on. The water is exceptionally clear, which makes it popular for snorkelling. There are no services on the beach and little natural shade, so you need to bring water, food and an umbrella. Because the descent puts many people off, it stays relatively quiet, though non-naturists do come down in peak season.
Ad Naturam – Spazio Naturista 3VeNat
Day-use naturist garden run by the 3VeNat association in the countryside between Venice, Padua and Treviso, set inside a lavender plantation. It has a large lawn, a swimming pool, toilets, shade and covered areas, and is aimed both at experienced naturists and at people trying social nudity for the first time. Self-sufficient motorhome parking and tent camping are possible on request. Lavender products and local honey are sold on site.
Agriturismo Re Piano

Facilities include a pool, a spa with sauna and whirlpool, a wood-fired oven, barbecues and horse riding. The whole property can be used nude outside the peak months of June to September. Spa access without an overnight stay is possible by booking.
