About Camping Naturiste La Source Saint-Pierre
La Source Saint-Pierre is a family naturist campsite on the bank of the Hérault river at Aniane, in the Hérault valley about 35 km west of Montpellier and close to the gorges and the medieval village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. It is a commercial campsite with about 70 touring pitches and some 17 rental units (mobile homes, chalets and furnished tents), set among trees with direct access to the river. Facilities include a heated swimming pool with whirlpool area and slides, a paddling pool, hammam and jacuzzi, a bar, a restaurant open in the evenings, a children's play area, boules, barbecues, free Wi-Fi and bread delivery; the gates close at night. Canoes can be hired for trips on the river. From early June to mid-September there is an entertainment programme with themed meals and evenings. Nudity is the norm on the site, and the campsite presents itself as welcoming both to experienced naturists and to first-timers. It opens from May to the end of September. The surrounding area offers walking in the garrigue, wine estates and the Pont du Diable and Clamouse cave a few kilometres upstream.

Nudity is lawful on private naturist campsites in France; on the Hérault river outside the site, normal public rules apply.
Public nudity in France is permitted exclusively in designated naturist zones (officially recognised naturist beaches and centres). Outside these zones, nudity is criminalised under French Penal Code Article 222-32 (exhibition/indecent exposure). The legal framework distinguishes between "naturism" (controlled, designated areas) and "public indecency" (general public spaces). France has 150+ member clubs offering naturist accommodations and 50 holiday centres with official status.

Getting there and visiting
Leave the A750 at the Gignac exit (about 5 km), take the D32 north towards Aniane and turn left before the village following the campsite signs to Chemin du Moulin de Siau. Montpellier airport is about 40 km away, and Montpellier Saint-Roch station roughly 36 minutes by car; regional LIO buses serve Aniane. French naturist sites usually ask for an FFN/INF card, which can be bought on arrival; confirm with the campsite.

Naturist club founded in 1931 with a fully enclosed one-hectare wooded park in the protected Buttes du Parisis at Franconville, north-west of Paris. Facilities include a pool, solarium, volleyball and pétanque, archery range, terrace, sauna, changing rooms and a clubhouse. The club prides itself on a welcoming approach for women trying naturism for the first time, and non-members can visit by appointment.
Aphrodite Village (Port Leucate)
Aphrodite is one of the self-contained naturist apartment residences that make up the Villages Naturistes of Port Leucate, on the Aude coast between Narbonne and Perpignan. Built in the mid-1970s, it is a large, car-free complex of low-rise apartments, studios and small villas grouped around courtyards, owned by individuals and let mostly by the week through owners and local agencies rather than run as a hotel. Units typically sleep two to four people and have a terrace; some upper-floor flats have a glimpse of the sea and views of Canigou and the Corbières hills. Shared facilities include secure gated access, free parking, two swimming pools (a lap pool open mid-June to mid-September and a relaxation pool open April to October, heated outside high summer), three tennis courts and a pétanque area, with shops, restaurants and the marina within the wider naturist village. The long naturist beach of Port Leucate is a short walk away. Nudity is the norm throughout the residence, pools and beach; the Leucate tourist office lists units here as part of the Aphrodite Village naturist residence.

Naturist guest room for two in the wine village of Pouzols-Minervois in the Aude, with an independent entrance, private bathroom and large bed.
