Naturism in North Macedonia

North Macedonia has no specific nudism legislation, operating in an informal grey zone where topless and nude swimming is tolerated in isolated areas around Lake Ohrid and selected beaches. General public morality laws may apply in non-designated spaces, but enforcement is rare and inconsistent. No official naturist beaches or resorts exist.

Naturist culture

North Macedonian society has limited awareness and acceptance of naturism. Lake culture supports informal naturism in secluded spots, but conservative traditional attitudes persist. The younger generation in urban areas is increasingly liberal. The tourism industry does not actively market naturism.
