Public nudity is legal and actively accommodated on designated FKK (Freikörperkultur — free body culture) beaches throughout the Adriatic coast. There is no criminal penalty for nudity in designated naturist areas, and Croatia maintains 13+ official naturist campsites and numerous nude beaches.
