About Stogi Naturist Beach
Stogi is Gdańsk's long open Baltic beach in the Stogi district, about 10 km from the city centre and east of the port entrance. It has wide pale sand (well over 100 m in places) backed by dunes and pine forest. Away from the guarded main bathing area, a stretch near beach entrance no. 23 has long been used for nude sunbathing. Polish press roundups count it among the oldest nude beaches in the country, and they stress it is unofficial: Gdańsk has no designated naturist beach. The nude stretch has no services, so visitors bring their own water and shade and take rubbish away. The cranes and terminals of the Port of Gdańsk are visible to the west, which some regulars count as part of the atmosphere. Directory listings place the nude area roughly between entrances 21 and 23, so expect the exact boundary to drift. The crowd is mixed: couples, older regulars and a noticeable gay presence. Press and reviewers have mentioned cruising in the dunes.
Getting there
Gdańsk city trams run out to the Stogi beach terminus. From there, walk along the beach or the forest paths behind the dunes to entrance 23. By car, there is parking near the main Stogi beach entrances; spaces fill up on hot weekends. From the entrance markers, the nude stretch is a short walk over soft sand. The main guarded beach has toilets, showers and lifeguards, but the nude area itself has none.
What visitors say
Visitors describe a broad, clean sandy beach with dunes and forest behind, quieter than the guarded central section. Opinions on the atmosphere differ. Some value the relaxed mix of naturists and the port backdrop. Others report men loitering or cruising in the dunes and say it is less comfortable for women alone or families. Regulars advise walking a little beyond entrance 23 for more space, and bringing everything you need.

Legal context
Poland has no official nude beaches in the Tricity. The 2016 Super Express roundup says Stogi's nude section is tolerated, not designated. Public nudity can in principle be penalised under the misdemeanour code (Art. 140 'nieobyczajny wybryk'), but Stogi has a long record of tolerated nude use. Sexual activity in the dunes is not tolerated and draws complaints.
Naturism at Stogi Naturist Beach sits under Poland's rules for traditional tolerance — custom more than statute.
