About Duneen Bay
Duneen is a small, secluded cove on the coast south of Clonakilty in West Cork, on the western side of the Clonakilty Bay area. The Irish Naturist Association lists it among the quiet coves around Clonakilty Bay used by naturists, noting that the cove ends at a rocky cliff and that very few people pass by. That seclusion is its main appeal. There are no facilities; Clonakilty, a short drive away, has shops and food. Simon's Cove on the opposite side of the bay and the Long Strand to the west are other naturist spots nearby.
Getting there
From Clonakilty, follow local roads south toward Duneen. Parking is limited to small spaces on narrow lanes. No public transport; not wheelchair accessible.
